El Molí de Vandellòs– Interpretation Centre for Olive Oil
The old Vandellòs agricultural co-op, which still houses much of the mill’s original machinery and several tools, is today an interpretation centre that demonstrates the process of the production of olive oil, from the harvesting of olives until its final consumption. It is a living space, with staged and audiovisual presentations that illustrate and clarify details and where the true protagonists are the farmers of Vandellòs. The testimony of the last miller as well as other individuals related to olive farming and the production of olive oil brings us up close to an activity that is an important part of our culture and Mediterranean identity.
At the agro-shop of the new Vandellòs co-op you will find a wonderful selection of the very best local products: olive oil, honey, nuts, and much more.
