Guided tour of the general public at the Visitor Center of the Coll de Balaguer Hospital. The hospital of the Coll de Balaguer or otherwise known as the Hospital of the Infant Pere, was founded and endowed by the infant Pere de Aragón and Anjou in 1344, on the plain of the strategic Coll from Balaguer, to defend, secure and colonize the territory and pass through Coll. The hospital is an example of the civil architecture of the time that stands out for its austerity and majesty. Visitors Center, inside the monument, explains the characteristics and history of this heritage property, the origin of the town of Hospitalet de l’Infant.
